What are the official dates for CEU 2022?

CEU 2022 will take place on Thursday, September 8-10, 2022.

How can I attend CEU 2022?

CEU 2022 is now a fully virtual event. You may attend from anywhere you have access to a high-speed internet connection. Instructions about how to access the CEU 2022 virtual platform will be provided closer to the event dates.

How can I register for CEU 2022?

What are the different registration categories/tiers?

What are the registration cutoff dates for CEU 2022?

The early registration deadline for CEU 2022 will be July 28, 2022. Advanced registration will be from July 29 to September 10, 2022. No registrations will be accepted after September 10, 2022; however, you may purchase access to session recordings through the Endocrine Society’s Center for Learning.

Is there a discount on registration for groups?

Currently, there are no discounts available for groups. The group rate will be the same as that for individuals.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Are there day passes available?

No, day passes are not available for the CEU 2022 virtual-only event.

I can’t/don’t want to use a credit card to pay for my registration. What should I do?

What is the recommended attire for CEU 2022 virtual?

Virtual attendees will not be visible on camera, so there is no recommended attire for virtual participation.

Are the CEU 2022 sessions being recorded or livestreamed?

Yes, all CEU 2022 sessions will be live-streamed and recorded. Recordings will be available for on-demand access in the CEU 2022 virtual platform within 72 hours of the originally scheduled date of delivery.

How long will I have access to recorded content after CEU 2022?

Access to the CEU 2022 Virtual Platform is dependent on your membership status.

After the dates above, registrants may purchase* access through the Endocrine Society’s Center for Learning.

*All Endocrine Society Member registrants and Emeritus Member registrants who purchased session recordings will retain access to CEU 2022 session recordings in the Endocrine Society’s Center for Learning from January 1 through December 31, 2023

Accreditation - CME

How many and what types of continuing education accreditation are available for attending CEU 2022?

Earn up to 28 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ and AAPA Category 1 CME Credits and/or Nursing Contact Hours (including 9 pharmacotherapeutic contact hours), or 19.75 ABIM MOC Points. For information about how you can claim credit, see question below.

How do I claim CME and MOC credits or a certificate of participation?

For AMA PRA Category 1 credit, ABIM MOC, and Participation Credits:

To claim Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points, please follow the following steps:
  1. Log into education.endocrine.org
  2. Select “My Courses” from the left-side menu
  3. Search for and click on Clinical Endocrinology Update (CEU) 2022
  4. Complete the evaluation
  5. Claim credit commensurate with your participation
If you do not see CEU 2022 in your Courses list, please email info@endocrine.org.

For AAPA Category 1 Credits and ANCC/APRN Contact Hours:
  1. Go to  www.cmeuniversity.com
  2. Login or Create a New Account (will take less than 1 minute)
    • If you receive a message when creating a new account that “the email you entered is already in use”, please click the Forgot my Username or Password link to have your Username and Password sent to you via email
    • After logging in, you may be asked to verify/update your information; after doing so, click Save at the bottom of the page
  3. Type in 17325 at top of page, “Find Post-Test/Evaluation by Course”, and click enter
  4. Click on the activity title when it appears
  5. Choose the type of credit you desire
  6. Complete the online assessment

When can I access my certificate of participation and begin credit claiming, and what is the cutoff deadline?

Certificate of Participation Availability and Credit Claiming Deadline

Credit claiming will be available beginning on Saturday, September 10, 2022, after CEU 2022 concludes, and the deadline is based on the content for which you are claiming credit.

CEU 2022 Virtual Platform FAQs

How do I access the CEU Virtual Platform?

Our virtual meeting site is now live! Registrants can access CEU 2022 virtual platform using the same username and password you use to log in on the endocrine.org website.

Will there be any content on Wednesday, September 7?

Please note that no content will be shared on Wednesday, September 7, and the program will begin promptly on Thursday, September 8. Review the CEU 2022 schedule for information about session start times.

What are the step-by-step Instructions for accessing the virtual platform?

Follow These Simple Steps to Log In
Log into the CEU 2022 virtual platform using the same username and password you use to log in on the endocrine.org website. View browser recommendations below to run the platform smoothly.

Maximize Your Experience
1. Your first stop in the virtual platform should be to the "Edit Profile" link in the top right corner of your screen. Please upload your photo, update your time zone as needed, select, and enable chat so you can engage with other participants via the platform's chat feature (dark blue bubble icon on the bottom right of your screen). 
  • Upload your Photo
  • Our platform default is EDT. Update your Time Zone as needed.
  • Make sure to consent so you can participate in networking (your email address is not published unless you decide to share your business card with a participant)
  • Double check that chat is enabled so you can engage with other participants via the platform's chat feature
  • View your Virtual Business Card
  • Select ribbons that identify your involvement in the Endocrine Society — or even choose some fun ones!

2. Go to the "FAQ / Help" tab on the left-hand navigation menu in the platform to learn how to troubleshoot technical difficulties and learn all the features of the platform.

What is the cost of attending CEU 2022 virtually and how do I register?

Will the link to the virtual platform be sent to my email address?

Yes. The link to access the CEU 2022 Virtual Platform will be sent to the email address that you used to register for the program starting on September 7th, 2022.

How long will I have access to the CEU 2022 Virtual Platform?

Access to the CEU 2022 Virtual Platform is dependent on your membership status.

What technology do I need to attend CEU 2022 Virtual?

You will join the live program using Zoom webinar. View the requirements from Zoom.

Below is a quick checklist of items to complete before CEU 2022 Virtual to ensure your systems are ready to go!
  • We recommend using a desktop or laptop computer for optimal results, but you can also access the platform by tablet or phone. Regardless of the device you use, make sure your operating system is updated to the most recent version.
  • If you are using a desktop or laptop, ensure the web browser you will be using is also updated to the most recent version. The platform is optimized for Google Chrome, but Firefox and Microsoft Edge will also work.
  • Once you have updated device operating systems and browser, ensure your system is compatible with our virtual environment by conducting a Technical Check. If you see green checkmarks next to each item in the list, you are good to go!

Is closed captioning available at CEU 2022?

Yes, closed captioning (CC) is available on the first instance of each session at CEU 2022. To enable CC within the Zoom session, follow these instructions. CC will not be available for repeated Meet the Professor sessions to avoid interference with the video playback of the recorded session.

Do I need to have a webcam?

No, you do not need a webcam to attend the virtual event. However, some exhibitors or attendees may have the ability to request a video chat. We encourage you to use your webcam during sessions to allow for a face-to-face experience with other attendees.

What happens if there are technical issues during a session?

If your session is disrupted due to network or platform issues, please email our Technical Team directly at endoceu@support.eventpower.com or Chat with Support for assistance during event hours.

What Are Some Best Practices for Using the Virtual Platform

  • Please review all Frequently Asked Questions within the CEU 2022 Virtual Platform to ensure optimal success.
  • Check your time zone settings in the “Edit Profile” section.
  • Be sure to have at least 1.8Mb per second for download and 0.6Mb per second for upload speeds for standard definition (3Mb download and 1.5Mb upload speeds for HD).
  • Please close all browser tabs or pause software updates running in the background as this may slow down your processing speed.
  • Turn off all notifications on your computer to avoid distractions.
  • Make certain your “Edit Profile” (top right of the screen) is accurate and up-to-date for optimal success.
  • While in a session you will not have the ability to multitask within the platform.

What is the CEU 2022 Live Chat Staffing Schedule?

Staff will be available for Live Chat and Technical Support during the following days and times:

In-Person to Virtual Decision

Why is there no longer an in-person format? 

Overwhelming intertest in our registrants to participate in CEU 2022 virtually would significantly impact the in-person experience.

Can I get a refund/reimbursed? 

See categories below:

Registration

  • Choose registration option (transition to online and refund difference), full refund, or credit in your account (credit can be applied to ENDO 2023). Refunds will be applied back onto the card used in approximately 7-10 days after request.
Hotel

Registrants may contact the Intercontinental Miami Hotel to cancel their hotel reservations. Registrants can reach out to the below contact information in order to cancel.

  • Cancellations can also be made through the original CEU 2022 passkey booking link
Airfare
  • Registrants must cancel their reservation.

Credit in your account equivalent to 2023 member or if they are a nonmember they receive complimentary 2023 membership or equivalent credit at appropriate level, to use on ES programs/products.

Airfare:

  • If air travel was booked via Concur, the Endocrine Society will cancel these flights on your behalf.
  • If you booked your travel outside of concur, please contact your airline directly for cancellation or credit in accordance with airline policies. If your flight cannot be canceled or credited, please provide documentation from the airline to info@endocrine.org. A Member Services Specialist will follow up with you regarding your options.

Hotel

  • Registrants may contact the Intercontinental Miami Hotel to cancel their hotel reservations.

Attendee

Registration Fees

Paid In-person CEU registrants can opt to receive one of the following options

  • Full refund
  • Partial refund, with virtual CEU registration
  • A credit to your Endocrine Society account, which can be spent on membership, meeting registrations, or products.

All paid attendees are eligible for an additional credit to your account equivalent to your current eligible membership rate. This will be automatically applied to your account and can be used for ENDO, membership renewal, and educational products.

Airfare

  • Please contact your airline directly to refund, change or credit in accordance with airline policies. 
  • If your flight cannot be canceled or credited, please provide documentation from the airline to info@endocrine.org. A Member Services Specialist will follow up with you regarding your options.

Hotel

  • If you booked your accommodations at InterContinental Miami, you should cancel reservation 72 hours prior to check-in to receive full refund and avoid penalty.

I only registered for membership because I wanted to go to CEU in-person. Can I get a refund for membership too?  

We can offer a credit to equivalent to 1 year free membership at current level for purchase of product, programs, services, or membership.

How will this affect virtual CEU? Will I get the same content if I do virtual?  

No change to the schedule.
